WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN

CIRCLE TIME: Learning to greet each other fosters respect, builds rapport, and sets a positive tone for interactions. It enhances cultural awareness, showing sensitivity to diverse norms. Greetings contribute to creating welcoming environments and improving communication. They signify acknowledgment and inclusivity, making others feel valued and respected. Mastering greetings improves social skills, confidence, and professionalism in various settings. Overall, they play a crucial role in establishing connections and fostering harmonious relationships.

SCIENCE TIME: Sensory exploration through tactile activities plays a crucial role in children's development. Activities like sensory bins filled with materials such as sand, rice, or beans allow children to touch and feel different textures, enhancing their sensory awareness. Texture boards with surfaces ranging from rough to smooth provide opportunities for tactile discrimination. Playdough play encourages creativity and fine motor skill development as children mold and shape dough with their hands. Nature walks offer firsthand experiences with natural materials like leaves and rocks, stimulating curiosity about the world around them. These hands-on experiences not only foster sensory exploration but also promote cognitive development and language skills as children describe their observations and experiences.

ENGLISH TIME: Introducing the letter 'S' to

children can be an engaging and interactive experience. Teachers often use multisensory approaches to make learning enjoyable and effective for young learners. For instance, incorporating songs or rhymes that emphasize the sound of 'S' helps children recognize its phonetic sound. Visual aids such as large flashcards or posters displaying the letter 'S' alongside familiar objects like sun, snake, or star can help children associate the letter with concrete images. Hands-on activities like tracing the letter 'S' in sand or playdough allow children to feel the shape of the letter, reinforcing kinesthetic learning. Group games where children identify objects or animals that start with 'S' encourage active participation and reinforce vocabulary. By combining these approaches, teachers create a supportive environment where LKG children can confidently recognize and begin to understand the letter 'S'.

MATH TIME:Introducing numbers and counting through physical activities like jumping can be a fun and effective way for

children to learn. Teachers can start by introducing a number, such as '3'. They can then encourage children to jump three times while counting aloud ("One, two, three!") to reinforce the concept. This kinesthetic approach helps children connect the abstract idea of numbers with a physical action they can easily understand. Teachers can vary the activity by using other movements like clapping or hopping to correspond with different numbers. Such interactive exercises not only aid in numerical comprehension but also promote physical coordination and engagement in the learning process. By incorporating play and movement into math lessons, educators can create a stimulating environment where children develop foundational numeracy skills with enthusiasm.
PLAY TIME:Introducing activities involving walking on sticks and floating hands can be engaging and beneficial for children to develop balance, coordination, and sensory awareness. Teachers can set up a balance beam or lay out sticks on the ground, inviting children to walk carefully along them. This activity helps improve their gross motor skills and spatial perception as they navigate the narrow path.By incorporating these activities into the curriculum, educators provide opportunities for LKG children to engage in playful yet meaningful experiences that support their physical and sensory development. These activities also promote curiosity, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning through hands-on exploration.
